&lt;p&gt;Indigenous youth trekking to Ottawa from northern Quebec arrived by the hundreds on Monday, March 25. In mid January, six Cree youth from Whapmagoostui began a 1,600 kilometre &amp;ldquo;Quest of Wisjinichu-Nishiyuu&amp;rdquo;, a &amp;ldquo;Quest for Unity&amp;rdquo; as part of the burgeoning Idle No More movement.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;On August 13th, a packed house at Minwaashin Lodge in Ottawa gathered for the launch of Bonita Lawrence&amp;#39;s new book, Fractured Homeland: Federal Recognition and Algonquin Identity in Ontario.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Bonita Lawrence, as well as Bob Majaury (Ottawa Alqonquins), Verna McGregor (Kitigan Zibi) and Bob Lovelace (Ardoch), spoke at the event.&lt;/p&gt;
